Most fire curtain manufactures when testing have 2 choices, tell the testing body to test until a certain time because you know the curtain will not last much longer, that's why some manufacturers only offer up to 2 hours. Or you can test until the testing body tells you that’s your maximum time because its starting to fail. The picture opposite shows you that after 4 hours 30 minutes we told the testing body to stop the test as the curtain was still not affected by the temperatures exceeding 1150 degrees, it did not fail or fall apart and could have went on and on.
